here's a decent list of some fine shows imho.you can't really go wrong with 81 and 82.also a lot of these links have been updated with better sources so hit your local torrent tracker to get better quality.83 is hit or miss imho.the wheels started to come off after 82 but that's just me :)

Hey Tigerbolt, You left out one of my favorites: 5-6-81 the glassberg version from the archive is excellent. I just listened to it again while out sailing - I seemingly can't get enough of this show. P.S. I gave 5-9-81 a listen the other day - another great show.

wow tigerbolt, that is quite the list for early 80s, i look forward to checking them out.

do i understand you right that you are not a fan of 84/85 shows? or am i assuming too much from your "wheels coming off" comment.

peace

imho 1968-1982 where the best years for the band but that's just me.more great shows followed after those years and great pleasure came to many after 82 but i think they where super tight from 68-82.starting in 83 things start to go a little downhill with a few peaks scattered in various years.this coming from someone who only got to see them from 91-95.the more you listen the more you'll notice :)
